Year so far

Well, turned 21 in January. Pres. Romo (yes, THE President of UTSA) was jamming with us at the basketball game in the drum line. Asked if we needed anything and I told him yeah, we need our own equipment, drums and everything. Next day, I'm at target getting my digi-cam and I get a call from my director telling me that Romo sent a check for $10 grand. We got our drums towards the end of the season. Blue Forest Yamaha Snare-14" 3 bass drums 18" 20" and 24" and a tenor. 6" 10" 12" 13" 14. Awesome. He actually sent over ANOTHER $10,000 check a couple of weeks ago, while our drums were on order. This guy is just amazing.

My brother Abraham left for Afghanistan in early March. I hope he stays safe, my white-looking-actually-hispanic-but-talks-black brother. He's a good guy and it's unfortunate that it's taken THIS long for us to get in, or BACK in touch with each other. Only brother I haven't felt close to growing up. I found out why a couple of months ago but that's family business.

Partied every weekend for about 6 weeks at my friends house. Slept over a couple of times when it got pretty late.

Had about a fair share of ups and downs but it's pretty even right now.

I really hope the rest of this semester is awesome because if it's not, well, I'll have a lot of life changing to do.

It's been great so far. I hope it gets

Gonna have to miss Blink 182 on Tour

It sucks because I'm going to have to miss the reunion tour for Blink 182 because they're playing Dallas and Houston in September which would be the 4th or 6th week of school for me. One of those days where I seriously hate school now. I wish I could see them live, but I'm just going to have to settle for buying their album. Weezer is playing along with Fall Out Boy and many other great bands that I wish I could see. No, I'm not going to tag Houston or Dallas because I hate those cities.
I will always remember that moment when they announced that they were getting back together. It was a great day indeed.

Blink 182 forever. Everyone else, watch out... Your time is at an end.

Dammit....

My Saturday night

Went to see Terminator with cousin and her friends. Took a while for her to decide what time she wanted me to get there. 11... no 10... ok... 11. Pfsh.

Well, we went to Alamo Drafthouse, first time for me, and it was great. Ordered a $5 chocolate milkshake and a Mr. Pibb. I didn't want to leave to go to the restroom because it was on the other side of the damn place. HA. Well, our waitress was really hot and I made it known to my cousin by saying, "She's hot." And then my cousin, being her bold self [I think she gets it from me] asked the girl-well, I'm not entirely sure what she asked her but I could see that it was about me somewhat because the chick looked at me and said, "I do." And that's all I really heard until I asked my cousin about it later and she said, "I asked that girl if she would want to go out with you, and she said, "yeah," but she's pregnant." Wow... I couldn't tell because of the chick's uniform but I saw her after the movie was over and I didn't say anything but just glance a few here and there.
I should've gotten her number regardless. Eh... no regrets. At least I got a, "yeah, I'd go out with him." That made this Memorial Day weekend all the more better.

I can't wait for Modern Warfare 2 to come out. It's gonna be a great game. If I could explain the eccentricities of it all.... it'd be a LONG blog. Go to www.gameinformer.com or the modern warfare site for more info and vids. I'm still learning how to do these blogs but there will be more to come.

Summer is here

So, I've passed 5/6 of my classes this semester. I still need to pass the remaining parts of the proficiencies for Basic Skills of Music IV and Aural Skills of Music IV in order to take the upper division courses. GPA went down 0.09 points because of that.

I can't wait for Modern Warfare 2 to come out. It's gonna be great.
